Montana Lake

I am so happy because for the last 4 days of summer before school started, I got to go with Flora and her family to Montana Lake, up in the Cariboo. Her whole extended family was there, so basically like 25 loud, exuberant, crazy, hilarious, loving Portugese people. This was excellent because this also meant that Flora's cousin was there, who happens to be my favourite boy! :) We spent an amazing 4 days kayaking, ATVing which is INCREDIBLY fun, eating, laughing, boating, swimming, relaxing, and pretty much just living the life. At first I was frustrated since things were going nowhere with him, but Flora and Emma came up with a plan, "operation retard love" to get us alone together. It was really good to talk to him, and it felt like the ice breaker we needed. I know it felt a little awkward for both of us since his entire family ALL know that we like each other. But once we talked it was easier to just act relaxed around each other. So for now we are taking it slow, but it looks like things are heading in the right direction! I feel nervous just thinking about it! :)
