model for a day

Today was a bit of a surprise. I showed up to work at 10 am at my dance studio and my teacher says to me "I volunteered you for the photoshoot!" (this is just how she does things. Nothing is ever a question with her, it is simply a statement/command) so I said okay, sure, because what choice did I have. I was less than thrilled but it got me out of doing lame office jobs such as ruining people's peaceful saturday mornings with irritating and somewhat panicked phone calls about dance rehearsels. So I obliged, and the day began. I got my hair done; first she back-combed it to death, until it was sticking out a good 5 inches away from my head. Then she added bright turquoise and green hair extensions, along with a hot pink daisy. For makeup: crazy 80s orange and yellow eyeshadow, dark filled-in eyebrows, and fake eyelashes. Then Danae took the photos. I felt like a model, it was actually so much fun! I did serious poses and happy poses, then switched roles. Next, my hair was put into a fancy updo with a sparkly clip thing. She changed my make-up and this time I looked somewhat like a normal person. It was such a cool way to spend my saturday morning!!! I will post a picture soon!
