Long weekend!

Flora's cousin, (let's call him Jefferson), came out to Maple Ridge for the weekend and stayed with Flora's family. I have only met him once, but I ended up hanging out with him, Flora and Jasper (Flora's brother) for the whole weekend. We went to playland, which was the most fun day I have ever spent there!!! Jasper was hilarious since he was just being himself and was acting like a little kid, the way he was so excited to go on the rides! That same night we went to see Friends with Benefits, which was a decent movie. The next day we hung out for a bit, and went to the park by Flora's house. I rode a scooter, Flora used rollerblades, Jasper rode a bike and Jeff rode a skateboard. We must have looked hilarious since Flora can't rollerblade and Jeff can't skateboard so we were basically the coolest kids on the block. That night we watched scary movies all night, I was terrified out of my mind but sucked it up since Jeff and I had a bet going on, and I won 5 dollars! Flora and Jasper went to bed but me and Jeff stayed up for a while longer, until eventually it was 4:30 am and we decided we should get some sleep. In the morning we went to Alouette Lake and attempted to swim but it was freezing. We watched more movies that night! Maybe it doesn't sound so exciting but it was actually such a fun weekend. It was good to just hang out and enjoy the freedom of SUMMER!!!
