Odd days here and there.

A few other random little excursions!
FireworksX2:
I went to two of the celebration of lights nights with two different groups of friends. Both were fun, eventful, and an all around good time. Got tons of pictures! Oh yeah, the second time I went (with school friends), I got this positive energy thing done on me. It’s hard to explain but it was a neat experience! Also the glee club from metrotown came around and sang for us. They were super good, and one of the guys was definitely the love of my life!
Gold creek:
Me and some dance friends and a few guys went to gold creek for the day. It started out with super crappy weather but we were determined to stick it out for the whole time since we were convinced it would get nice! Luckily it did, and we went swimming. Not the most exciting thing to write about, but I was proud of myself because the guys convinced me to jump off of a tree branch thing that was sticking out into the water. I was terrified and thought I was going to fall off, but one of the guys had already dove off of it and didn’t hit any rocks beneath the surface, so I closed my eyes and went for it! Also, another thing I have been wanting to do FOREVER is ride in the back of a pickup truck! Which we all did, and I was way too excited, like freaking out about how awesome it was! No one else was even phased but I thought it was AWESOME!
Blueberry picking: Me and Flora were instructed by my mother to take the money she gave us and drive out to a blueberry farm and buy as many blueberries as we could for that amount of money. So after getting very lost out in the middle of nowhere, we eventually found the farm. The whole experience felt strangely surreal, as though I was in a dream. We walked up to the greenhouse/shed in the back, and no one was around. Eventually someone came out of the house and I asked if I could buy some blueberries. Apparently you have to pre-order if you want the pickers to pick them for you, so instead me and Flora spent a good 3 hours picking blueberries. We discovered that talking amongst blueberries is just so much better than talking without blueberries. Don’t ask me why. All I know is that it was a blissful afternoon of eating and picking and we left with a HUGE tub filled to the brim of ripe, delicious blueberries. After that, we drove to Pitt Lake, opened the trunk and sat with our feet dangling out the back like the hick town kids that we are, stuffing our mouths with the sweet juicy little morsels! :)
