San Diego: Day Four

Today we spent most of the day shopping in a little store and ended up buying four sweatshirts, one for me, one for my dad and two for my mum. I also bought some souvenirs for my friends (which I can't say what they are because they will read this and know!). The weather was kind of crappy today. I woke up with really swollen glands, probably from dunking my head in the freezing cold ocean the day before. It was supppperrr windy all day which sucked for walking around Pacific Beach. When we got back to the hotel we checked out and took the bus to Old Town. It was a bit of a walk, but we eventually made it the Holiday Inn Express. We checked in and walked to a restaurant for dinner. I do not understand how the day went so quick but somehow it did. We got Mexican food for the third night in a row! It was really good. Then we got coldstone icecream and walked back to the hotel. This hotel is so cute! It's really quaint and old, with a lot of character. It has a balcony overlooking a courtyard with a fountain and everything. It's raining out now but we're going to go for a swim in the pool/hot tub because it's nice and heated yay! We're no longer right by the beach, but considering the rainy weather it's kind of nice to be in a cute cozy hotel!
