San Diego: Day Five

Monday morning we woke up, went for our yummy continental hot breakfast, then walked around Old Town and looked in the little shops. It was nice and sunny out yay! We took the trolley to Mission Valley and went to the San Diego Mission. My dad loves going to see the missions, and it was his last day here. They are pretty cool, I must say. Inside there is a church and outside there's a cemetery and a lot of neat fountains, statues, flowers and interesting architecture. After looking around, we hopped back on the trolley and walked back through Old Town. We stopped at a restaurant called "Pizza Bella" which apparently has the the best pizza in America. I have to admit, it was quite delicious. Then we walked back to the hotel so my dad could get ready to go. We said goodbye and he hopped on the airport shuttle. Then my mum and I figured we might as well use our all day bus passes again, so at about 4 o'clock we took the trolley (which is a lot like the skytrain), into downtown San Diego. We went to a mall called Horton Plaza. We spent a while looking in Forever 21, it was huge! I got some cute things on sale. We looked in a few more stores then realized it was getting dark out so we decided to go back to Old Town. The trolley station was super sketchy, I was convinced someone was going to mug us. But we got back safely and walked to the hotel and ate our leftover pizza from earlier then went to bed!
