San Diego: Day Two

I am very behind in my blogging! On Friday morning we walked down to the beach in La Jolla, then came back to our (pool-less) hotel, packed our bags and got ready to leave (as mentioned previously). The manager drove us to the sister hotel called Pacific Shores Inn in Pacific Beach. Let's just say Pacific Beach is all about partying, drinking and surfing. So it's a lot of fun! Just not with my parents haha. I would love to go back when I have turned 21 with Flora, Georgie, Mia, Lillian and Sadie! It would be awesome! There are tons of nightclubs and good restaurants, and a long stretch of beach with a pier. The hotel was slightly sketchy but not too bad. It's nothing fancy, just a typical beach hotel. It has a pool, which is nice. When we got there, we went to the beach and out to the pier and watched some of the surfers. I could seriously spend hours doing that. We looked in some shops and then went out for dinner to a place called "World Famous". We all ordered fish tacos and I attempted to order a margarita but failed when she asked me for ID. I guess I can pull off 19 back home but not 21. I ordered a virgin margarita and my mum got a real one and I tried some but I didn't really like it. I think maybe I just need a break from the hard liquor for a bit haha. Then we went and got some frozen yogurt and looked in some more stores. I went into a store called Closet and they have awesome clothes for cheap! I tried on a bunch of things and put them on hold. Then we walked back to our hotel and tried to ignore all the drunks stumbling on the streets. It was fun and interesting, that's for sure.
