2) Smile a lot. (Although not if you don't really mean it).
3) Make me laugh. If you can genuinely make me laugh then I will genuinely like you a lot more. The best ways to make me laugh do not involve being rude about other people.
4) Look me in the eye. A huge turn off is a guy who is so shy that he can't even work up the courage to make eye contact with me. If our eyes never meet, I will never notice you.
5) Tell me about yourself. Tell me about your interests even if it's things you think only your buddies would understand. I might surprise you.
6) Don't be afraid to be yourself. If I like you, basically everything you say will just make me like you more. If it's quirky and strange, all the better (although there is always a line!) Don't try to hide things. Be honest.
7) Don't be creepy. Don't be pushy. But don't go so painstakingly slow that the world stops and the clocks move backwards because I will get very impatient and might just give up on you.
8) If we're holding hands, squeeze it every now and then or just move your fingers a little bit so I know you're still really present. Holding hands becomes lame when both people just let there hands hang there limply.
9) Do small thoughtful things just because. I can guarantee you this will win my heart. I am not a fancy girl, I don't need fancy gifts, I just like to know that you took a little time to think of me. Extra points for creativity ;)
10) Be spontaneous! I would love it for my guy (not that I have one now) to call me up out of the blue and suggest something fun, something outdoorsy or adventurous or just out of the blue. I am up for anything. Just knowing that you spent time thinking up something exciting for us to do will keep the spark there.
